Probably one of the most avant garde theaters in Europe, it has been recently refurbished and presents the most critically acclaimed plays in town.
Notes from Teatro Franco Parenti: There is a giraffe on the roof of the Franco Parenti, above the Teatro sign that is reflected in the waters of the Mysterious Baths. It is the Giraffe Raffaella , a work of the Florentine artist Self-styled Moradi , and a bit like the theater she is curious to see higher than her gaze, with her long neck she tries to see, beyond the clouds, the future .
She is the emblem of a symbolic opening, a moment of meeting to tell each other that soon, finally, the theater will restart at full speed with all its initiatives, first of all the staging, in June, of Il filo di Mezzogiorno. by Mario Martone.
