New Preston is mind blowing in that they have Plain Goods and Privet House. Either shop is worth the ride on its own and any town would be lucky to have either of them but to have them both a few doors away makes going back again and again worth a day trip. The collection of antiques and fashion at Plain Goods feels like nothing I have ever seen before, it's Ralph Lauren meets Amy Perlin in a stunningly restored building on the river.
Plain Goods celebrates impeccable craftsmanship, purity of form, and nature’s ever-changing palette. Each season we present collections for the home and wardrobe that uphold these qualities and our love of simplicity. We value exquisite materials and the skilled hands of the artisans who create them. Our collections are meant to be touched, worn, loved and lasting.
