Manitoga Russel Wright Design Center

Garrison, NY

“The studio looks as if Russel Wright was there this morning—a must-see for design lovers.”

"In Garrison (a short drive to the Magazzino Italian Art Warhouse) is a wonderous home and collection created by the industrial designer Russel Wright.  In the early 20th Century Russel Wright purchased a defunct quarry.  He spend the next decade turning the land into a wondrous garden and the quarry into the pool.  Built onto and into the rock is his home where he lived with his wife and daughter."

"Manitoga, Russell Wright, is a Modernist home aired on a rock quarry"
