"Gilded Owl has a more urban Euro-sophisticated edge—Gio Ponti meets eighties Memphis with a decidedly contemporary spin. Andy Goldsborough and Elizabeth Moore have pushed Warren Street into the future with their views on art and design."
"Farther afield BUT so worth the scenic drive is Sean Scherer’s, for lack of a better term, Cabinet of Curiousity Shop! An interior decorator himself, I could imagine Sean also being a set decorator for movies, plays and tv. His quirky shop is chock full of his vintage finds and I dare you to walk out without making a purchase or two! I mean, how can you resist a taxidermized crow, vintage photographs of affectionate cowboys, or even an anesthesia device from the 1920s!"
"This is a fantastic little shop in town center with a wonderful collection of children's clothing and gifts, apothecary items, an excellent edit of boho chic clothing for adults and other odds and ends that Jill TerMolen-Cornillon personally collects."
"Not to be missed is the recently constructed round barn at the Churchtown Dairy funded by Abby Rockefeller. There’s a small farm store that sells meats and yummy cheeses made onsite, as well as and raw milk. That’s it. There’s a medicinal garden and handsome critters. One is free to roam about and I would definitely recommend doing so."
