Together with Slavante these two establishments are always full. The food good and all round. The setting is also what brings the people here. Specially people with children because they also serve the typical things like pancakes, ice-cream and so much more. They also have a playground for children and what we also really like is the space in between the tables. It doesn’t feel crowded even-though fully booked. Also it’s a great start- and ending point for nice walks in nature.
De Biesenhof, a typical Limburg Carré farm, is located in a beautiful walking area in the valley of the Geleenbeek near Geleen. This Carréhoeve is located at the foot of the Biesenberg where the Geleenbeek has recently returned to its original bed. The Zuidschuur, which previously served as a horse and pig stable, now houses a cozy brasserie-cum-restaurant. From the restaurant you have a unique panoramic view of the Biesenberg.
